Let’s Build the Blueprint Together

A blueprint is a plan, but a good plan starts by understanding the ground you are building on. That is how I think about the future of Yancey County. Before deciding where we are going, we need to understand where we are, what is working, what needs to change, and what opportunities and challenges are ahead. That is the purpose of Yancey’s Blueprint conversations. I don't want to tell people what they should think. I want to listen, especially to people who may see things differently. We will not agree on everything, and that is okay. The goal is not agreement for its own sake. The goal is to listen, discuss, and work toward practical solutions. Yancey’s future should be built here, by the people who call Yancey home.
